Welcome to this world.

Happy endings don't exist here, well, not anymore. Ever since Malificent did a spell that is. The spell happened to backfire, and it did more then it was intended. Every place you could imagine were blended together. Time seemed to be messed up, you could go across the street and be in a different location and it would be 3 pm. That could seem like a huge headache for most people. For others though, who’s hearts were cold and their souls as black as coal, this would soon became almost like a game, a game that they were sure to win, and everyone else was their pawns.

In every location, it seemed like the sun had almost vanished. What light that was left was either by a fire someone lit or by what seemed like a dull pale colored moon in the sky. Every building, tree, and even the ground seemed to darken and look almost gothic. Fear could be starting to clench the people’s hearts. But oh no, that was not the end of it. The people themselves began to act dark, petty violence and random attacks were not uncommon anymore. People had no reason to do it, they could just look at someone and soon there would be mashing of teeth and fists flying.

Only a select handful, our beloved creations of Disney, were the only ones to not be affected by it. But for how long? Worldwide fear was spreading. There was no way to hide from this almost dark like disease that was spreading through everything. It seemed to be a matter of time before it got to them, and it is a fight for your life. It could only make matters worse when villainous ones would come to them, they would be kind enough to offer redemption, on the condition they work under them and do as they are told to do.

No one wants to turn to them, but no one wants to fall victim to this dark disease of sorts. They have to fight to remain good, to try and help the rare few outside of themselves to not be affected. But how much longer can one live in this environment? Where there is no light, no hope, no sanctuary? You have to fight to stay alive, to stay sane in this world, but how long will one be able to stay sane? Will they lose their minds, will they be able to fight this and remain themselves, or will they eventually crumble at the feet of those who have caused them misery for a mere chance of being able to be free of this world? Fall prey to the enemy, or fall prey to some strange, twisted “sickness?”

Dark Fairy Tales is a brand new site that within the last few days of February 2010 has come from the mind of three wonderful people. This site accepts Disney, and other classic form of animation (Anastasia, Ferngully,etc). We do not accept ones from the Disney Channel though. But otherwise we hope this site will be up and going with your help! Many roles are open and ready for you all to snag. We are also looking for someone who would be able to help us with graphics and help edit the site.
